What an incredible year 2007 was! Before we move on to a new year, lets not forget to look back and thank God for the past year…for His goodness, mercy, grace, forgiveness, love and provision. If you look, you’ll find it all there. Here are a few of our blessed memories.
Mitch, my eldest, totaled his car after falling asleep at the wheel. Not a great memory unless I remember God’s wonderful grace and provision in the midst of it. He walked away without one scratch–praise God!
2007 Peyton attended her first formal dance. When she came down the steps all dressed up, her dad said, “wow! I guess my little girl is all grown up…when did that happen!!”
Below is me and Bill, my literary agent, in Atlanta. There I met with several publishers and landed my first book contract with David C. Cook! I would appreciate your prayers. My deadline is sneaking up on me!
Here you’ll find the “Charley’s Angels” as we celebrate Christmas Eve 2007 at mom and dads house. In case you didn’t know, we were the orignal picks for the series but when we were too busy to shoot the show, they went with three blonds instead. Angels from left to right are: my sister, Dina, me, and my niece, Tiffany.
The best gift of 2007 was taping with Kay Arthur! Here’s the whole gang that participated. She is such a gem and a blessing to the kingdom of God.
This fall, our entire family rented a huge log cabin in the Smoky Mts. of Gatlinburg, TN. We love it! We had the best time together making memories. To the left is me, Pat, my hubby, and Peyton and Parker.
Whitney, Briley and Peyton are being silly as usual. We had to run the boys off all week. Why they were attractive to our little girls we just don’t know????????

I love this time of year…being able to look back and really appreciate the goodness of God which in the busyness of life I often miss or overlook or plain take for granted.God is so good.
With best wishes for you for 2008 and wishing you God’s richest blessings,
Rachel.

Thanks for sharing the photos Micca. I too have been reflecting back over 2007. We experienced a lot of ups and downs. We praise God for each of those times.

As the year wore on, you looked younger and younger – how are you doing that?! Has Vogue called yet? 🙂
And oh my goodness I can’t believe how grownified Peyton has become.
Love to all ~ Rachel
