I’m so excited you asked about She Speaks, Mariel!! First of all, yes, I’ll be teaching a break-out session called, “Captivating the Heart of Your Audience” and I will be closing he conference Sunday Morning with a message entitled, “When God Calls a Woman.”
I hope to see you there! If you would like to know all about the details of our annual Speaker/Writer Conference, then click here www.shespeaksconference.com
The most exciting part of She Speaks is you will not only walk away with the tools you need to be a spokesperson for God, either through the written or spoken word…you will not only have the opportunity to meet with editors from BIG name publishing houses…you will not only have a great opportunity to network with other speakers and writers across the US…you will not only be encouraged and confirmed in your calling…BUT you will walk away refreshed in your relationship with the Lord and discover new found passion and courage to do whatever He’s calling you to do!! I hope this information is the answer to your prayers and the confirmation you need to attend. You won’t regret it. It’s both a benefit to your ministry and a blessing to your heart!
And…to answer your question Marina, I will come and speak anywhere the Lord leads! Texas is one of my favorite states because my accent allows me to fit right in! Also, my brother and his family live in San Antonio, TX.
I did speak in TX a few years ago to a sweet group of women! I met this awesome worship leader Lindsey Cane who, by the way, will be leading worship for She Speaks this year. You can also find out more about Lindsey on our website by clicking on “worship.” So, Marina, have your local church invite me to come and I’ll be there with my cowboy boots and hat on! Together we’ll learn how God’s rivers of living water quench our thirsty souls as we journey down life’s dusty trails!
Happy Trails to all!

Thanks for the answer about She Speaks! It sounds incredible! I am praying the Lord provides the means (financially) for me to attend this year. If I do, i’d love to attend your sessions. I love writing, but often am asked to teach bible study…sorta speaking?! I am totally new to this ministry call and I GREATLY appreciate any insight and wisdom you and others can lend. I am thinking the writing and speaking go hand in hand, right?

I attended She Speaks last year and it really changed my life! You won’t regret going. I would love to attend this year and have been praying about it, but funds are extremely tight right now and there is no possible way that we can afford it, short of a miracle. 🙁 My heart, thoughts and prayers will be with you all in June.
In Need of Him says
On the topic of SheSpeaks. I have had the desire to go for the last several years, but for some reason (mainly finances) always back out because I have a hard time discerning whether it is MY desire to go or the Holy Spirit prompting me to go. Also, I am not sure which track to go on…speaking or writing. I have always thought speaking, but lately writing is also a possibility. Do they go hand in hand? How do you know which one to do first? Please help…
In Him,
Desperately looking for her calling
