Tennessee wins again!
Wednesday night we won over Georgia 13-2. Georgia had an awesome team! Those boys could bat, pitch, and run like the wind! However, the winds blew in our favor! Our players and parents came pumped and ready to play ball. Cheers could be heard for our team throughout the park. We had shakers, cow bells, horns, and signs that read… “Tennessee is in the house” just in case the message wasn’t clear.
Parker had a great game with 3 hits and one walk. His picture was in the Lagrange paper today! Under neither the caption read,
“Parker Campbell and his teammates from Tennessee won over Georgia State 13-2.”
Three of our boys hit homeruns! I believe we are leading the tournament in homeruns. Pretty cool—huh? We celebrated by doing “the wave!” It’s just not for football, you know!
We also won tonight’s game! That puts us in third place of the World Series! Although that’s totally awesome, we don’t plan to stop there. We want to go all the way!! (And the boys want to see me with orange hair!)
The game can be seen on http://www.youthsportslive.com/ That’s good news for me. I had to miss tonight’s game and drive home so that I could fly out in the morning. I’m heading to Texas to speak Friday night to a wonderful group of women.
It’s exciting times in the Campbell family. I can’t wait to see what God does in TX . I’m anxious to meet face to face those I’ve been working alongside of for several months now. I’m asking God to show up and show out in both Georgia and in Texas! I would appreciate your continued prayers for my son and his team, for traveling mercies, and for the hearts of those who will hear God’s message this weekend. While you’re praying…it would be nice if I could to return to GA in time to see the Championship game on Saturday!! Thanks, friends.
And thanks to all of you who left a comment on my blog or emailed me about how God used my devotion to help guide you in some way. It just proves that God does truly care about the details of our lives! Praise His Wonderful Name!!
Happy trails—wherever God may lead you…

Congrats to Parker and I’m believing that he and his team goes all the way.
Have a wonderful time speaking! I’m believing it will bear fruit.
I’m also hoping someday to go to one of your meetings!

Micca,
I sent you an email last week. I’m not trying to be impatient but I want to make sure it didn’t go into your junk email box.
Thanks,
Paula
