Has your week been as busy as mine has? Monday I had tons of laundry to do since I was away this weekend speaking in MS. By the way, MS gals are as southern as I am and I love that about them! Tuesday I lead a bible study group and today I worked on my writing, and then, shared my story on Susie Larson’s radio show! She is such a sweet, godly woman. It was such a joy chatting with her.

One thing I shared with Susie is you and I have to believe God is good and working on our behalf in order to conquer fear. Go back to the first chapter or two of Genesis and you’ll find God creating the world. In doing so, what does he say repeatedly about his creation? God says it is GOOD!
Everything God does is good. Where do you think the faith of those first believers came from? It came from the fact that they only knew God as being good. What would happen to our faith, or our fear, if we dwelt on the fact that God is GOOD, no matter what our circumstances may say? Could peace be the result? It was for me.
Let me help you out. Here are some attributes of God revealed in creation: (read Gen chap 3)
God provides for our needs. Therefore, God is GOOD.
God promises redemption for his people. Therefore, God is GOOD.
God prevents Adam and Eve from eating from the Tree of Life or else they would have remained in a sinful spiritual state. Therefore, God is GOOD.
God protects his creation. Therefore, God is GOOD.
God prolongs judgment. Therefore, God is long suffering and GOOD.
God proves he is relational and faithful. Therefore, God is GOOD.
In what ways has God goodness helped you overcome your fears?
