Have you noticed that when you forget to pray your day is an uphill battle? Pray is important. Many do not pray because of the cost. Their schedules are busy and they simply don’t have time to waste. Prayer is costly but it doesn’t cost us anything. It did, however, cost God everything in order for us to have fellowship with Him. With this in mind, I dare not waste the privilege of prayer.
Besides, the only way we can stand against the enemy is to do what God says.
“Therefore, take up the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Eph 6:11).
This verse tells us, “to take up” the armor of God. It isn’t given to us. We have to take it and put it on in prayer. Also, we are to stand, not fight. God does the fighting for us. We are to stand dressed in His armor because we are more than conquerors. We don’t have to fight because we’ve already overcome!
Each morning I dress myself in armor before I dress my body. The bible tells us how.
“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one” (Eph 6:14-16).
When we take time to dress in the full armor of God, the devil cannot catch us unaware.

Yes. Sometimes we forget our precious position in Christ and we might lose balance.
