Thanks for the encouragement yesterday. You really blessed my little “redneck” heart!
This morning, I was reading Paul’s prayer in Eph 3: 14-20. I encourage you to stop and read it. Insert your name and make it your prayer too.
I love how Paul pyramids words to describe the superabundant blessings we have in God at the close of his prayer. Building upon each word, dives home the truth that our God is ABLE!
Check this out.
“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph 3:20).
Able
Able to do
Able to do what we ask
Able to do what we think
Able to do what we ask or think
Able to do all that we ask or think
Able to do above all that we ask or think
Able to do abundantly above all that we ask or think
Able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think
What do you need from God today? Go ahead and tell Him. He’s more than able.

This is a right word for me. It came at a time when I need it.

I need him to fix me emotionally and physically. I am tired, frustrated, angry and empty. I am depressed and anxious. I take medicines which the doctor is trying to adjust but I am spiralling downhill quickly. My family needs me, I have to work overtime because we need the money, my husband and I don’t communicate, my youngest has speech therapy once a week, she also has a family counseling appointment once a week for her obstinate behavior, she is not even 3 years old, my other daughter started kindergarten a few weeks ago. I cannot stand my job. My husband and I have counseling for us one night a week and I try to lead the Women’s Group at our church one night a week because no one else wants to or will and because that is the only time I get any spiritual connection with God. There just isn’t anything left for me. And the majority of the house upkeep falls on me as does paying the bills. I need some help and some hope. I need someone to love me and take care of me. I really needed to read that today! I have recently taken on a new position within my firm and have been blessed with the trust of working from home. There are great expectations, both from me and my new boss. I hear satan telling me it’s not going to work out, I’m not good enough, to prove myself, it’s a fluke, etc. UGH! – it can be deafening! But, today I will recite the “Paul Pyramid” as a mantra to keep my thoughts positive and EYES upon Jesus – the author and perfecter of my faith. Thank you for your poinant words from our heavenly father!
