So excited to be taking part in the upcoming study through Melissa Taylor’s Online Bible-study. This will be the 4th study I have completed with Melissa and I always grow closer to Jesus through each one. I am so looking foward to it, actually going to pick up the book this week 🙂
Can’t wait! I’ve purchased 4 paperbacks & a kindle edition. I have friends in mind whom I want to give the books. One of those friend’s word of 2012 is fearless.
I was telling my daughter about your story. She said I’ve read that story before somewhere. Later she called back to tell me it is a book her friend gave her a couple yrs ago. “Your Scars are Beautiful to God”. Her friends saw the title & immediately thought of my daughter. She became a burn survivor at 19. She was in a car accident and suffered 3rd degree from hips down. She spent 8 wks at KU burn unit. She lost her right leg below the knee, her left foot & ankle were covered with her abdominal muscle.
I can understand your sister’s story. I don’t know the depth of your pain. I have never experienced it. So sorry for your loss. Thanks so much for sharing your painful story. Thanks for allowing God to turn your ashes into beauty and helping all of us to learn from your struggles. May God richly bless you.
