Do you know God? I mean really know God. Most of the time you and I think about God in 4 dimensional terms because that’s all we know. Therefore, we put our limitations on God. We tend to think of Him as being a little bit bigger, somewhat wiser and a tad bit stronger than we are. What we end up with is super-sized version of ourselves. The problem with this perception is it makes God too small.

God is more than a super-hero. He’s more than a Santa figure or a magic Genie. He’s so much more! It’s only by Knowing God By Name that you can have a trusting, loving, intimate relationship with.

Think about it. How do you develop a close relationship with your spouse or friend? You have to get to know them. How did you come to trust them, seek their counsel or follow their guidance? Agian, it’s because you took time to know them inside and out. It’s hard to trust or be close with someone you don’t know.

God already knows you. Isn’t it time you got to know Him? I hope you agree because knowing God will change your life even if you’ve been worshiping Him for years.

    God, what is it like for You to hear those precious, quiet prayers from those who love you,
    What is like for You to see the whole world from way up there and see us like little, tiny ants sometimes, helpless and struggling, sometimes feeling hopeless and sometimes rejoicing,
    What is like for You, God when you see Your children who are worship and praise Your Holy Name,
    What is like God, when you see the suffering, the hurting and the pain others go through each day,
    God, how is it that You care so much and created such a beautiful world for us to live in,
    Why did Jesus have to hang on that cross was there no other way to save us, Lord
    How is it we are forgiven so much, loved so overwhelmingly, and protected so wonderfully by You,
    God, I want to know You more,
    I want to feel Your very presence,
    I want to hear Your Word, breathe every word,
    Hold on to You with all my heart, strength and mind

    • So sorry you were through such horrible abuse as a child. I just want you to know your Heavenly Father is nothing like those who have abused you. God is like no other. He is holy and righteous. He is mighty in strength. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. Even when we cannot see God with our own eyes it does not prove that there is no God. We cannot see the air we breathe or the wind blow, yet we know these things are real. There are a lot of things we cannot see. No one knows all the things God knows, for He has a plan and purpose for everything. Without Him there would be no hope, no peace and no joy. There would be no purpose or reason to live. Our hopes, our dreams and our very existence are from God. He created us. The freedoms we enjoy come from Him.
      What you need to know, Suzanne is that no one loves as much as God does. Nothing can take the place of God. He loves you so much He gave His only Son, Jesus to come and die on the cross for your sins, so you could have eternal life. He came to forgive you of the things you do wrong. We all fall short of being like God who is holy and without sin. If you will believe in your heart and accept Him into your life as Lord and Savior, He will come in. All you have to do is ask and pray a simple prayer: God, I ask you forgive me of my sins and I invite Jesus to be Lord of my life and be my Savior, because I know He saves me from my sins when He died on the cross. Thank you for saving me. I trust in You. in Jesus Name Amen.
      The evil in this world is not from God. There are people who chose to do wrong and there are those who chose to follow God. They cannot touch our soul and God can use us to help others for His purposes. God is good and He is the only One who can free us inside our hearts. Abuse can cause us to feel insecure, unloved, and not accepted, but God’s love is secure, He loves us and He accepts you just as you are. Hope this will help you, Suzanne. Praying for you. in Christ
